Office of Student Conduct Can Help

If you have a student who is engaging in disruptive, disrespectful, dishonest, or otherwise problematic behavior in your class or office, the Office of Student Conduct is here to help. We encourage you to file a report regarding the student's behavior.

Filing a report does not mean tat the student will necessarily get "in trouble," although students who have engaged in serious behavior or who have engaged in a pattern of conduct may be charged under the Code of Student Conduct. The Office of Student Conduct, in coordination with the Case Management and Behavioral Intervention Team, will speak with you about your concerns and develop a plan for responding to the behavior. Someone for our department will reach out to the student to discuss the behavior and explain Tulane's expectations for its students and to help the student develop a strategy to meet these expectations.

By filing a report, you will help connect the student to resources and assistance that he or she may need while enduring that all of your students have a productive and respectful learning environment.
